Important Note
Desi Kirana reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the below conditions in order to comply with Dutch food hygiene and consumer safety regulations.
Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or refunds for the following items:
Fresh vegetables and fruits
Freshly prepared or perishable food items (including sweets, snacks, ready-to-eat foods)
Frozen or refrigerated products
Opened, used, or partially consumed food items
Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery
Once these items are delivered, they cannot be returned as per food safety laws in the Netherlands.
Returnable Items (Unopened & Non-Perishable Only)
You may request a return only if all conditions below are met:
The product is non-perishable
The product is sealed, unopened, and unused
The return request is made within 14 days of delivery
The original packaging is intact and undamaged
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our mistake.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
We will provide a replacement or refund if:
You received a damaged product
You received an incorrect item
An item is missing from your order
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:
Your order number
Clear photos of the product and packaging
A brief description of the issue
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by us
